Now firmly established as the freshest and most exciting blues guitarist to have emerged on the world scene for many years, Matt is rated in the top ten British blues guitarists of all time (Guitar & Bass Magazine) putting him in the company of such iconic names as Eric Clapton and Peter Green. He was also crowned “Blues Guitarist” and “Album of the Year” in the 2010 British Blues Awards.

In 2010, he also joined such luminary names as Buddy Guy, Eric Johnson and Robben Ford, who have DVDs produced by the world’s largest music print publisher, the US-based Hal Leonard organization. Schofield is one of the few Brits ever to have appeared on the Hal Leonard imprint.
